According to USDA-FAS GAIN report IN2024-0015 released on March 25th India will allow importation of duck meat. During early March, the Ministry of Commerce 
and Industry authorized imports of premium frozen duck meat in accordance with a harmonized tariff system.
Import duties for duck meat have been reduced with expectations of shipments to the Nation from the U.S albeit it in competition from producers in the E.U. and Asian nations including Thailand and China.
